📝 Key Responsibilities
As a JATS XML Specialist, you will:
- Convert scientific journal articles and books from PDF to structured JATS XML (NISO JATS v1.3) format.
- Tag critical metadata like authors, affiliations, references, ORCID IDs, DOIs, URLs, and copyright details.
- Perform quality checks and validate XML against JATS schema/DTP standards.
- Collaborate with publishing and editorial teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Use tools like Oxygen XML Editor or equivalent XML editing software.
💡 Skills & Requirements
✅ Hands-on experience with JATS XML (NISO JATS Version 1.3 preferred).
