About the Role
TELUS Digital (TD) is hiring Software Development Engineers (Fullstack I) to join their world-class team working on innovative AI-powered solutions. This is a great opportunity for developers who are passionate about full-stack development, eager to learn, and excited to build the next generation of digital and AI-driven systems.
As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with product and technical teams to design, build, and maintain scalable services that power TD AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance services and platforms to support TELUS Digital AI.
- Contribute to the software development life cycle (SDLC) following TD AI’s best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and deliver maintainable, efficient, and unit-tested software.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and feature planning.
- Write detailed technical specifications and implement robust solutions.
- Identify and fix bugs while continuously improving product performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years in software development or relevant internships.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, C#, or GoLang.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and working in a collaborative environment.
