Job Role & Responsibilities
The Technical Support Representative will be responsible for providing voice-based technical assistance to international customers. Candidates will work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment addressing troubleshooting, product issues, and service-related requests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide real-time technical support to global customers through voice channels
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, cloud, and infrastructure related issues
- Handle live support cases with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Manage tickets and resolve technical concerns efficiently
- Follow support protocols, SLAs, and internal guidelines
- Work in rotational shifts including night shifts and weekends
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to apply:
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Must have chat support experience in previous roles
- Strong typing skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to work 24/7 rotational shifts including night shifts
- Valid experience in technical support or service desk roles
Additionally, all selected candidates must clear B2 level communication proficiency, assessed through:
- Versant, Talview, or
- Trainer-led communication evaluation
Good to Have Skills
Having any of the below will be an advantage:
- 6+ months experience in Infra Support, Storage, or Service Desk
- Hands-on experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.)
- ITIL knowledge or certification
- Product troubleshooting expertise
- Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience in supporting Microsoft or Google products
- Google Workspace Admin or Microsoft certifications

Selected candidates will be posted at:
- TCS Chennai offices, or
- TCS Indore offices (based on business need)
