Job Description

Cognizant is looking for enthusiastic Fresh graduates who have basic knowledge of accounting concepts, especially Accounts Receivable (AR). Candidates should have strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer accounts through voice and non-voice interaction.

You will be involved in customer invoice processing, payment applications, account research, and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoicing customers accurately and within timelines
• Applying payments to customer accounts
• Running Dunning reports for overdue accounts
• Researching customer accounts to resolve discrepancies
• Communicating with customers/clients to clarify pending issues
• Supporting month-end reporting and account reconciliations
• Updating contract pricing periodically
• Maintaining documentation and ensuring data accuracy

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Accounting / Accounts Receivable
• Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Strong typing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of Visual Basic or Macros is an added advantage
