Job Description
Zoho is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst (SecOps Engineer) to join its IT Security team. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, as well as implementing security measures to protect organizational systems and data.
This role requires strong technical capabilities, a good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- Monitor security alerts and logs to identify threats.
- Respond to incidents in a timely and structured manner.
- Assist in forensic investigations and root-cause analysis.
Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Management
- Perform regular risk assessments across systems and networks.
- Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate with teams for remediation.
Security Operations and Policy Implementation
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Support security audits, compliance checks, and documentation.
Security Awareness and Training
- Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for internal teams.
- Promote secure practices across the organization.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve security issues.
- Prepare reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and risk trends.
Threat Intelligence and Research
- Stay updated with emerging cyber threats and attack patterns.
- Suggest improvements to enhance security posture.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewall administration, and endpoint security solutions.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive incidents and work under pressure.
