Job Purpose
The Associate Manager – Acquisition plays a key role in acquiring new customers for the bank’s savings account segment. The role includes identifying potential customers, engaging with them through multiple channels, explaining product features, and ensuring successful onboarding. A significant focus is placed on building long-term customer relationships and delivering an excellent banking experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition
- Acquire savings accounts from the assigned segment and catchment area.
- Generate references and build a pipeline of quality prospects.
2. Quality Sourcing
- Ensure high-quality acquisition in terms of customer profile, product type, and segment mix.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal processes and regulatory guidelines.
3. Digital Onboarding
- Assist customers in activating and using digital banking platforms.
- Promote the benefits of online and mobile banking to enhance customer convenience.
4. Catchment Mapping
- Support Senior Sales Manager in catchment analysis and branch scoping activities.
- Explore new areas of potential customer growth and business opportunities.
5. Customer Engagement
- Conduct field activities within the catchment area to attract HNI and quality customers.
- Maintain high visibility for IDFC FIRST Bank through outreach initiatives.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with team members and support departments to provide seamless product and service delivery.
- Share insights with Senior Sales Manager and Branch Manager regarding customer requirements and business trends.
7. Compliance & SOP Adherence
- Follow all sales processes and standard operating procedures defined by the organization.
- Ensure zero deviation from internal and external compliance norms.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, including:
- Engineering or Technology
- Commerce, Business, Management
- Arts, Science, Math, Biology
- Computers and IT
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or retail banking (freshers can apply).
