Role Overview – Analyst Trainee
Selected candidates will be aligned to one of the following practices based on credentials and performance during the hiring process:
- Multicloud
- Digital Workplace Services
- Integrated Smart Operations / IT Practice
This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and an interest in IT operations, cloud, data, or technical support.
Job Responsibilities (IT & Integrated Smart Operations)
- Write and execute database queries and stored procedures
- Perform CRUD operations based on low-level designs
- Prepare and execute manual/automated test cases
- Analyze service tickets and resolve issues as per SOPs
- Work with IT Service Management and Data Analytics tools
- Participate in innovation and experimentation activities
Job Responsibilities (Multicloud Alignment)
- Monitor and manage production servers
- Handle incident and service request management
- Support Windows, Network, Database, Storage, Messaging & Cloud environments
- Follow SOPs, security, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to continuous service improvement
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and buddy programs
Job Responsibilities (Digital Workplace Services)
- Provide first-line IT support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Log, track, and resolve IT tickets efficiently
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles
- Coordinate with IT teams for issue escalation

Eligibility Criteria (Important)
For IT / Integrated Smart Operations:
- 2024 or 2025 graduates
- 3-year UG degree: BCA, BSc (CS/IT & allied streams), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics
- Minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, and UG (No rounding off)
- No arrears at the time of joining
For Multicloud & Digital Workplace:
- 2024 or 2025 graduates
- Any 3-year UG degree (BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, BCom, BVoc, BMS, etc.)
- Minimum 50% overall
- No standing arrears
🔹 Flexibility to work from any Cognizant location, shift, and technology is mandatory
🔹 Only Indian nationals / OCI candidates residing in India are eligible
