Tesco Bengaluru is hiring for the position of Associate – Chat Support. This role is ideal for candidates with strong written communication skills and a customer-first mindset who are looking to build a career in customer service within a global retail organization.
As a Chat Support Associate, you will handle first-line customer queries through written communication channels and ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Handle first-line customer queries via chat and written channels
- Provide tailored solutions using available tools and knowledge bases
- Ensure all tickets are closed within agreed timelines
- Maintain service quality standards and deliver strong customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Work in roster-based shifts to support customer queries
- Solve problems by analyzing different solution alternatives
- Participate in team discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow Tesco’s Business Code of Conduct and company values
Skills & Eligibility Criteria
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Strong customer service orientation
- Typing speed with good accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Email, etc.)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Conflict resolution skills
- Empathy and strong customer focus
Experience
- Experience in customer service (preferably chat or written support) is an advantage
- Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered (as per company requirements)
