What is the SLI Role?
The Sustainable Livelihood Initiative is a business model at HDFC Bank that focuses on empowering the unbanked population. As an SLI Officer, you will:
- Field Work: Identify potential customers like Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Joint Liability Groups (JLGs).
- Credit Verification: Conduct field visits to verify the creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Eligibility Testing: Perform borrower eligibility tests and manage the documentation for loan disbursements.
- Portfolio Growth: Achieve targets for loan recovery and portfolio expansion in rural lending.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Any Graduation degree is mandatory.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of Banking and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Language: Must be fluent in Hindi to coordinate with diverse customer groups.
- Nature: Must be comfortable with field-oriented tasks and meeting recovery targets.
