💼 Internship Role & Responsibilities
As an HR Intern (Sourcing and Recruitment), you will be an integral part of the talent acquisition team. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Assisting with candidate sourcing through various channels.
Coordinating interview schedules and handling initial candidate communication.
Making calls (including cold calling) to potential candidates.
Utilizing Excel and MS Office for recruitment data management.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
HCL is looking for motivated individuals who meet the following academic and residency requirements:
Who Can Apply?
Graduates (UG): BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA.
Postgraduates (PG): MA, MSc, MCom.
Skills: Strong English communication, confidence in public speaking, and proficiency in MS Excel.
Openness: Candidates must be willing to travel and work on-site in Chennai.
Ineligibility List (Important)
You are NOT eligible if:
You are from premium institutes like IIT, IIM, NLU, IISER, NID, IIIT, or IISc.
You hold professional degrees like MBA, CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, PhD, or MPhil.
Your annual family income exceeds ₹12 Lakhs.
A family member is a regular/permanent Government employee.
You have already completed or are currently under an apprenticeship scheme (NATS/NAPS).
💰 Financial Support & Benefits
This internship follows the PM Internship Scheme guidelines, providing substantial financial assistance:
Monthly Stipend:₹9,000 * ₹900 contributed by HCLTech
₹8,100 via Government DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer)
One-Time Incidental Grant:₹6,000 (Paid in two installments).
Insurance Cover: Government-provided life and personal accident insurance.
Certification: A formal completion certificate upon finishing the 9-month tenure.
