💼 Role & Responsibilities
As an Application Developer within the Java and Web Technologies stack, your focus will be on building robust enterprise applications.
- Design & Development: Create and support applications using the Java/JEE stack.
- Tech Stack: Work with Java frameworks and scripting languages like Ruby or Groovy.
- Modern Engineering: Apply concepts like Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control (IoC), and Aspect-Oriented Programming.
- DevOps Integration: Utilize DevOps tools and methodologies for efficient deployment.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless data exchange and functionality across complex enterprise systems.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
IBM has specific requirements for this entry-level off-campus role:
1. Education & Batch
- Degree: BE / B.Tech, M.Tech, ME, M.Sc, or MCA.
- Streams: Computer Science and IT-related branches (including specialized tracks like AIML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, IoT, etc.).
- Batch: Graduates from 2024 and 2025 only.
- Academic Record: Minimum 6.0 CGPA / 60% throughout.
- Backlogs: Must have zero active backlogs at the time of application.
2. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, C++, Python, or Node.js).
- Fundamental understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
