Program Overview
- Duration: 8 Weeks (2 Months)
- Dates: 1st June 2026 – 31st July 2026
- Location: Campus-based Residency (Ulwe, Navi Mumbai)
- Stipend:
- UG Students: ₹10,000 per month
- PG Students: ₹20,000 per month
- Perks: Mandatory on-campus accommodation provided (double occupancy).
Research Areas & Faculty Mentors
Applicants can apply to one of the following specialized tracks:
- Advanced AI for Healthcare: Led by Dr. Sudipta Roy (Deep Learning, CV, LLMs).
- Next-Gen AI Systems: Led by Dr. Mohna Chakraborty (NLP, Ethical AI).
- Materials Science & Energy Devices: Led by Dr. Samik Mukherjee (Optoelectronics).
- AI in Marketing & Consumer Behavior: Led by Dr. Vishnu Prasad.
- ML, Decision Systems & Game Theory: Led by Dr. Anuj Vora.
- Sports Management (Talent Pathways): Led by Prof. Anirudh Kalia.
Eligibility Criteria
- UG: 3rd or 4th-year students (B.Tech, B.E, B.Sc, BBA, etc.)
- PG: 2nd-year students (M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, etc.)
- Strong academic background and domain knowledge required.
- Personal Laptop is mandatory.
How to Apply
Jio Institute follows a personalized email-based application process. There are only 10–12 seats available across all projects, so early application is critical.
- Prepare Documents: Update your CV and write a Research Synopsis (500–1000 words) on your chosen theme.
- Email Submission: Send your CV, Synopsis, and Marksheets (10th, 12th, and all Semesters) to summer.school@jioinstitute.edu.in.
