Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Specialist at QIMA, you will bridge administrative precision with lab operations. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Compliance Standards: Adhering strictly to the internal Management System and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Order Management: Handling daily order submissions and managing processes related to samples submitted by clients.
Inventory & Warehousing: Coordinating and executing the secure warehousing, storage, and eventual release of client test samples.
Documentation & Reporting: Filing hardcopy submission documents, preparing technical/operational reports, and maintaining an organized filing system.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Taking on dynamic, short-term assignments to support the lab testing team as required.
Qualifications & Skills Required
To stand out for this role, candidates must bring the following qualifications to the table:
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc. preferred), Engineering, or a related discipline.
Domain Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of proven working experience specifically within a third-party testing environment.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of laboratory testing protocols and familiarity with the ISO/IEC 17025 quality system.
PC Proficiency: Fast and accurate typing skills alongside solid mastery of the MS Office Suite.
Communication: Good command of both written and spoken English.
Mindset: Self-initiated, capable of working independently, and a collaborative team player.
