Core Purpose of the Role
The primary focus of this role is to drive retail customer acquisition for the bank’s premium savings products. As an Associate Manager, you will identify prospective clients, introduce them to the bank’s custom financial features, execute standard account opening workflows, and nurture long-term banking relationships to achieve sustainable customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition: Driving new-to-bank savings account acquisitions within the designated segment and generating consistent referrals across the specified catchment area.
Digital Onboarding: Assisting newly acquired customers with seamless setup, activation, and cross-platform navigation on IDFC FIRST Bank’s mobile and digital channels.
Market Mapping: Collaborating with the Senior Sales Manager to conduct detailed catchment mapping, localized research, and branch scoping exercises.
HNI Engagement: Regularly organizing localized client activities, promotional drives, and community events to attract High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and build powerful brand visibility.
Compliance & Governance: Maintaining complete alignment with the bank’s internal Sales SOPs, operational guidelines, and external regulatory requirements (KYC policies).
Feedback Loops: Providing real-time updates and field feedback to Branch Managers regarding shifting consumer preferences and localized business opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for energetic, customer-centric professionals who meet the following requirements:
Educational Profile: Minimum Graduation (Bachelor’s degree) in any stream. This includes Engineering, Technology, Commerce, Mathematics, Arts, Science, Business Management, or Computer Applications.
Experience Range:0 to 2 years of sales or relationship management experience. Candidates looking to break into banking as raw freshers are highly encouraged to apply.
