Key Roles & Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for L&T Land Systems, you will be deeply involved in developing, debugging, and optimizing complex, real-time software modules:
System Development: Design and implement software tools to accelerate large-scale software system development, test environments, and debugging frameworks.
Distributed Architecture: Program and manage operations within a high-performance multi-thread/multi-process environment utilizing advanced inter-process communication (IPC) protocols.
Root Cause Analysis: Analyze systems for scalability or interworking constraints, perform root cause analysis, and resolve technical issues arising from customer deployment sites.
Diagnostics Integration: Implement built-in software diagnostics and structural test codes to enhance long-term system reliability and supportability.
Protocol Interfacing: Develop communication layers over diverse physical devices and networks using Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, ModBus, IP protocols, VLANs, and Ethernet switching.
Required Technical Skillset & Qualifications
