E-commerce leader Amazon is actively recruiting for the position of RME Coordinator (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) at its CJB1 facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Operating under Amazon Transportation Services Private Limited (ASSPL), this full-time technical role combines facility management, admin control, preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM), and shift management across electrical, mechanical, and automated control systems.
This position is tailored for engineering diploma holders or graduates with hands-on technical experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronics domains.
As an RME Coordinator at Amazon CJB1, your daily maintenance and engineering duties will include:
Equipment Maintenance: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for conveyor systems, power distribution systems, transformers, and wiring.
Troubleshooting & Controls: Maintain and debug relay logic, ladder diagrams, PLCs, motor starters, proximity sensors, solenoids, Servo drives, and frequency inverters.
Facility & Admin Operations: Oversee soft services including housekeeping, pest control, waste/scrap disposal, pantry services, and statutory compliance under Indian Factory Rules.
Corrective Maintenance (TT Calls): Attend Troublestrip (TT) calls for rapid repairs, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), DG maintenance, and fire safety systems (alarm/extinguishers).
Safety & Vendor Control: Issue height work and hot work permits, coordinate with AMC/warranty vendors, manage spare inventory, and track Opex/Capex budgets.

Basic Qualifications
Technical background and practical experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Instrumentation & Controls.
Sound knowledge of power distribution, safety permits (hot/height work), and facility upkeep.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using CMMS software to record reactive maintenance tasks and plan proactive schedules.
Hands-on familiarity with warehouse equipment (conveyors, carts, trolleys, rolling shutters, pumps).
