Fresh Prints is a fast-growing, New York-based custom apparel startup. The company works directly with students across universities in the US, empowering them to build campus apparel businesses. The Production Artist Team plays a critical role by ensuring every order’s mockups and print files are completely accurate and production-ready before reaching the printers.
Key Responsibilities
Artwork Review: Examine mockups and vector graphics to ensure they match client requests and customer instructions.
Pre-Print Preparation: Prepare vector files for print production, verify placement, sizing, spelling, and color specs.
Problem Solving: Identify potential print feasibility issues before orders go into production.
Software Usage: Use Adobe Illustrator efficiently to make precise artwork revisions.
Team Communication: Collaborate directly with sales teams and Campus Managers regarding order clarifications and recommendations.
AI Tooling: Utilize AI-assisted productivity workflows responsibly to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Eligibility & Requirements
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Adobe Photoshop is a bonus).
Hands-on experience or understanding of reviewing and editing vector graphics.
Basic understanding of garment decoration methods and print production processes.
A well-functioning PC/laptop capable of handling heavy design workloads alongside a stable internet and power backup.
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Strong attention to detail and sharp critical-thinking abilities.
Comfortable asking questions and adapting to continuous feedback.
Ability to work comfortably in a remote environment.
