Role Overview – Apprentice (GBS Technology Team)
As an Apprentice in the GBS Technology Team, you will work in core areas of:
- Automation Testing
- Functional & Non-functional Testing
- Quality Engineering
- Agile Development
- Manual Testing & Selenium Automation
You will collaborate with multiple teams across banking, markets, and risk domains to ensure delivery of high-quality software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for applications
- Work in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Develop test conditions and test scripts based on functional specifications
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing
- Create and execute manual & automated test suites
- Generate test data and maintain test documentation
- Raise defects, identify blockers, and collaborate for resolution
- Serve as a quality gatekeeper for software releases
- Prepare test reports and communicate progress

Eligibility Criteria
This role is open ONLY for final-year students graduating in 2026.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Specializations:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Information Systems
- Or relevant technical fields
- Academic Requirement:
- 80% in last semester, OR
- CGPA 8/10 with no active backlogs
- Certifications: Not mandatory
- Experience: Not required
Foundational Skills Required
- Good understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures
- Basic understanding of RDBMS / SQL
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Eagerness to learn Automation and Quality Engineering
- Passion for Quality Delivery
