Job Overview

CBRE, a global leader in real estate services and facilities management, is hiring a Helpdesk Executive for their Chennai operations. This role serves as the first point of contact (SPOC) for all client requests, complaints, and service-related queries within an IT Park environment. The Helpdesk Executive will be responsible for logging issues, coordinating with service providers, updating clients, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This position is ideal for graduates with at least one year of experience in customer or employee query handling, especially in facilities management, administration, or corporate support roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and log occupant (client) requests and complaints using the FM Smart Software.
  • Generate Job Requests and Work Orders for service providers and track completion.
  • Update callers on the status of their requests and collect feedback to improve service quality.
  • Reconcile and close all open Job Requests, Work Orders, and Work Permits periodically.
  • Maintain updated manual and digital Complaint Registers for easy reference.
  • Provide daily updates on pending complaints to managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Issue Work Permits to subcontractors after receiving required approvals.
  • Assist Shift Engineers in daily shift activities and operations support.
  • Track, document, and report daily water consumption for facility monitoring.
  • Prepare and maintain daily activity records for internal reviews.
  • Collect data and update WMR (Weekly Management Report) and MMR (Monthly Management Report), ensuring timely submission to clients.
  • Handle card activation and deactivation requests, coordinating with the BMS (Building Management System) team.
  • Manage monthly attendance through Biometric Software and share records for vendor invoice processing.
  • Adapt to revisions in responsibilities, as tasks may be updated quarterly.

Required Qualifications

  • Any graduate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in handling customer or employee queries.
  • Strong communication skills in English and regional languages.
  • Good understanding of helpdesk operations, facility management processes, and client servicing.

Skills Required

  • Ability to manage complaints and service requests professionally.
  • Proficiency in using facility management software (FM Smart or similar).
  • Strong coordination and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work with various teams.
  • Good attention to detail and task follow-up.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
