Role: Cybersecurity Intern – Trainee SOC Analyst
Are you passionate about defending against cyber threats? Scybers is seeking dedicated and ambitious cybersecurity interns to join their Managed Detection & Response (MDR) team. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, working alongside experienced analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Alerts: Assist in monitoring and analyzing alerts to detect potential threats.
- Incident Response: Participate in investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
- Log Analysis: Analyze system logs to detect suspicious activities and potential breaches.
- Threat Intelligence: Gather and analyze information on emerging cybersecurity threats.
- Vulnerability Management: Support identification and mitigation of system and application vulnerabilities.
- Security Tools Exposure: Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on incidents, findings, and recommendations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fresh graduates or final-year students in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related fields
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn and keep up with cybersecurity trends
