Ditto Insurance (part of the Finshots family and backed by Zerodha) is hiring for the role of Insurance Advisor (Tamil & English). This is a 100% remote, full-time position open to freshers with zero prior insurance experience.

Unlike traditional cold-calling or aggressive sales roles, Ditto operates on an inbound, consultative advisory model where clients reach out directly for advice on health and life insurance.

Ditto offers two distinct advisory operational tracks based on communication preference:

3. Key Responsibilities & Core Work Philosophy

• Inbound Advisory Only: Speak with customers who have booked appointments or reached out directly—no cold calling or spamming.
• Consultative Guidance: Assess individual client needs, clarify complex terms, evaluate trade-offs, and suggest appropriate insurance coverage.
• Ethical Closing: Guide clients through plan selection and final purchase when a suitable policy fits their exact requirements.
• Accuracy & Detail: Ensure complete accuracy during customer consultations to prevent future claim processing issues.

4. Key Requirements & Eligibility

• Experience: Freshers are welcome (0 years required). Complete training is provided from scratch through a structured onboarding program.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English along with fluency in Tamil.
• Skills: Strong customer empathy, ability to simplify complex concepts, tech comfort (CRM workflows), and detail-oriented thinking.
• Video Resume: A short video resume is mandatory during the initial application process.
