Job Role: Specialist – Customer Success

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Type: Full-Time, On-site
Experience: 1–3 years (Customer Success / SaaS preferred)

As a Customer Success Specialist at Freshworks, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers get the maximum value from Freshworks products. You’ll engage proactively with clients, understand their business processes, and help them adopt solutions that best fit their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with customers using Freshworks’ customer engagement model.
  • Understand customer use cases, map workflows, and document business processes.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across Freshworks’ product suite.
  • Provide demos and suggest solutions that align with customer business needs.
  • Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and manage ongoing engagement.
  • Evaluate customer product usage and suggest efficiency improvements.
  • Promote new product features and innovations to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, Support) to solve customer issues.
  • Analyze customer data to improve product adoption and retention.
  • Own two major success metrics: Product Adoption and Customer Retention.
  • Use customer management tools such as Natero (training provided).

Qualifications & Skills

✅ Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Business)
✅ Proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients
✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)
✅ Ability to manage both large and small clients independently
✅ Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and customer engagement
✅ Self-driven, analytical, and data-oriented mindset
