How You’ll Make an Impact

You won’t just be moving goods; you’ll be managing the heartbeat of global energy projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Global Coordination: Acting as the main contact between project teams and logistics departments during transport execution.
  • Documentation Mastery: Preparing administrative transportation documents, export papers, and ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
  • Strategic Planning: Working with Procurement to ensure shipping is cost-effective and strictly follows the defined schedule.
  • Customs Expertise: Monitoring changes in customs legislation and handling complex applications, particularly for Saudi Arabia and MEA countries.

Who Is Hitachi Energy Looking For?

  • Education: University degree in External Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Ideally 8–10 years in transport/shipping coordination (per detailed requirements).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English AND Arabic (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is highly valued due to the focus on MEA markets.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of SAP and MS Office is mandatory.
  • Mindset: A “can-do” attitude with strong stress management and organizational skills. Experience with Dangerous Goods (DG) is a major plus.
