📝 Job Summary
Flex is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst – Cost Accounting Solutions to support finance operations and cost accounting activities. The role involves working closely with operations teams, maintaining financial controls, and supporting month-end processes.
This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn corporate finance and cost accounting practices.
📌 Roles & Responsibilities
A typical day in this role includes:
- Performing defined cost accounting activities
- Understanding and following corporate accounting policies
- Monitoring and tracking key cost accounting metrics
- Implementing cost-saving and time-saving initiatives (Kaizens & process improvements)
- Collaborating with operations teams to analyze metric non-conformances
- Posting month-end journal entries (accruals & reclassifications) in ERP systems
- Preparing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Documenting processes in DMS
- Learning and acting as a backup for the cost accountant
🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- B.Com / BBA (Finance)
- M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Experience:
- Freshers or 0–2 years of relevant experience
🧠 Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Team player with a willingness to learn and apply new skills
