🩺 Job Responsibilities
As a Medical Coder, you will:
- Convert patient data (physician notes, lab reports, diagnoses) into standardized medical codes
- Use CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS and related guidelines
- Perform lab, ultrasound, and x-ray coding
- Identify documentation deficiencies and discrepancies
- Act as a coding consultant and assist team members
- Follow coding conventions and compliance standards
- Stay updated on the latest medical coding updates
- Support quality audits and billing accuracy
👨⚕️ Desired Candidate Profile
✅ Certified in CPC, CIC, CCS, or COC
✅ Good knowledge of Professional and Facility guidelines
✅ Strong in Lab, Ultrasound, X-ray coding
✅ Excellent in medical terminology and coding accuracy
✅ Good communication skills
✅ Willingness to learn and work in a team-based environment
