Role: Software Development Engineer (India)

As a Software Development Engineer at Nokia, you will be part of the Optical Networks division. Your work will directly impact the next generation of AI-driven data center networks and connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with architecture and ASIC teams on new product introduction.
• Develop SDK APIs and algorithms for next-generation ASICs.
• Define and execute SDK test plans and support integrations.
• Create design documentation and collaborate with Optical and ASIC architecture teams.

Skills & Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 0–2 years in software development (communications industry preferred).

Technical Skills:

• Strong coding and debugging skills in C/C++ (mandatory).
• Experience with Linux or RTOS (good to have).
• Exposure to Embedded Systems, Device Drivers, and Protocol Software (preferred).
• Knowledge of ASIC SDK development, OTN, GIGE, or DSP (advantageous).
