Examples

Jyothi (Managing Director of Surya) joined Surya as a fresher in 1999. She has been a crucial part of the team that built Surya’s product suite and has come up through the ranks. Today, she is widely considered to be one of the top experts in the area of balance sheet management for banks. Jyothi took over as Managing Director of Surya in 2016.

Chetan (Engineering Manager) joined Surya as an intern in 2015. He was one of the founding members of Surya Digital. Over the last six years, Chetan has built & shipped several products in multiple domains (finance, health care, art, law, etc.) and technology stacks (iOS, Android, Java, Kotlin, Python, ReactJS, Flutter, etc.). Today Chetan leads a team of over 15 people.

Mayur (Engineering Manager) joined Surya around a year after he graduated as an iOS developer, in 2017. Mayur was the linchpin of a critical re-write of Surya’s Data Harmonizer platform in Rust. He has since gone on to lead multiple teams working in several technology stacks (iOS, Android, Rust, Kotlin, etc.).

All 3 of the above people are shareholders of Surya.
