Job Responsibilities

As an Associate in QA and Test Engineering, you will:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Create detailed test plans, cases, scripts, and reports.
  • Analyze API performance using JMeter and report bottlenecks.
  • Perform API security testing including authentication and authorization checks.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure robust product delivery.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous testing and delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with the group’s governance, risk, and conduct standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: B.Tech / Engineering Graduate (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field).
  • Experience: 0–3 years in QA, automation, or software testing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Java, Selenium, Appium, Python
    • Gherkin / Cucumber frameworks (BDD)
    • Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI
    • RDBMS / SQL / PostgreSQL
    • JMeter for performance testing
    • Azure DevOps & Swagger (API documentation)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Awareness of Agile software development, change, and release management.
  • Ability to coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.
  • Effective risk escalation and management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders during test cycles.
