Job Responsibilities
As an Associate in QA and Test Engineering, you will:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Create detailed test plans, cases, scripts, and reports.
- Analyze API performance using JMeter and report bottlenecks.
- Perform API security testing including authentication and authorization checks.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure robust product delivery.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous testing and delivery.
- Maintain compliance with the group’s governance, risk, and conduct standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / Engineering Graduate (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field).
- Experience: 0–3 years in QA, automation, or software testing roles.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Java, Selenium, Appium, Python
- Gherkin / Cucumber frameworks (BDD)
- Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI
- RDBMS / SQL / PostgreSQL
- JMeter for performance testing
- Azure DevOps & Swagger (API documentation)
- Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.
- Effective risk escalation and management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders during test cycles.
