The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was established under the Aadhaar Act 2016 and functions under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
UIDAI manages the complete Aadhaar lifecycle including:
Enrolment & authentication
Technology development
Data security & identity protection
Policy creation related to the Aadhaar ecosystem

📘 UIDAI Internship 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
Students must have minimum 60% marks (GPA 6/10) in previous semesters.
1️⃣ Technical Graduates (B.Tech / BE / B.Design / B.Graphic)
Final or Pre-final year students
OR Graduates who passed within the last six months
Stipend: ₹30,000 per month
2️⃣ Technical Postgraduates (M.Tech / ME / MCA / M.Des / Information Design)
Final or Pre-final year students
OR Postgraduates passed within last six months
Stipend: ₹40,000 per month
3️⃣ Other Fields – Graduate Students
Fields: Legal, Commerce, Accounts, Finance, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
Final exam appeared OR graduated within past six months
Stipend: ₹20,000 per month
4️⃣ Other Fields – Postgraduates (MBA/PGDM etc.)
Final exam appeared OR passed recently
Stipend: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
5️⃣ PhD / Research Scholars
Domains: AI, Machine Learning, Cyber Law, Data Privacy, Blockchain, Cloud, Quantum Computing, Public Policy, etc.
Must be registered at a recognized Indian institution
Recommendation from PhD supervisor required
Stipend:
Technical fields: ₹50,000 per month
Other fields: ₹40,000 per month
⚠️ Applicants must apply within 6 months of their final result declaration.
📅 Internship Duration
Minimum: 6 weeks
Maximum: 12 months Interns must complete the full duration to receive the certificate.

📝 How to Apply for UIDAI Internship 2025
Eligible students can apply in two ways:
✔️ 1. Online Application (when notified)
UIDAI may release an online form through their website.
✔️ 2. Email Application
Students can send their CV + supporting documents to the respective UIDAI centres mentioned in Annexure-E. (UIDAI will specify the email addresses during notification.)
Important Requirements:
Students currently enrolled must submit a sponsorship/NOC from their institution.
Pass-out students do not need an NOC.
Selected candidates must submit the original NOC before joining (if applicable).

🖥️ Facilities & Requirements
Intern must arrange their own accommodation & transport
Must bring their own laptop
Limited desktop access may be provided depending on the project
Internet access based on UIDAI policies
📑 Internship Report & Certificate
At the end of the internship, interns must:
Submit a project report
Submit a No-Demand Certificate
Obtain approval from the reporting officer
UIDAI will issue an Experience Certificate upon satisfactory completion.
⚠️ Code of Conduct
Interns must:
Maintain strict confidentiality
Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Not interact with media
Not represent UIDAI in public forums
Not engage with third-party vendors without approval
🔚 Internship Termination
UIDAI can terminate the internship with 15 days’ notice if:
The intern shows lack of interest
Violates confidentiality
Fails to follow instructions
