🔍 Role Overview
As a Technical Writer at Zoho, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality product documentation that helps users, administrators, and internal teams understand and use Zoho products effectively. Your work will align closely with product release cycles and customer feedback.
📝 Key Responsibilities
📘 Product Documentation
- Create and maintain user-facing content such as:
- Help guides
- Admin guides
- How-to articles
- FAQs
- Troubleshooting guides
- Release notes
- Feature documentation
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, structured, and readable content
- Review UI flows and product builds to ensure documentation accuracy
- Update existing documentation based on product updates and customer feedback
- Deliver documentation aligned with product release timelines
🤝 Collaboration & Content Development
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers
- Participate in feature discussions and documentation planning
- Coordinate with support teams to identify documentation gaps
- Address recurring customer issues through improved content
- Manage multiple documentation tasks under tight deadlines
📊 Sales Enablement Support
- Create or assist in sales-related content such as:
- Battle cards
- Competitive comparison documents
- Feature one-pagers
- Product overview decks
- Simplify technical details to highlight product differentiators
- Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across product, marketing, and sales teams
🎯 Required Experience & Skills
- 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience working with product documentation and release cycles
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams
