🔍 Role Overview

As a Technical Writer at Zoho, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality product documentation that helps users, administrators, and internal teams understand and use Zoho products effectively. Your work will align closely with product release cycles and customer feedback.


📝 Key Responsibilities

📘 Product Documentation

  • Create and maintain user-facing content such as:
    • Help guides
    • Admin guides
    • How-to articles
    • FAQs
    • Troubleshooting guides
    • Release notes
    • Feature documentation
  • Translate complex technical concepts into simple, structured, and readable content
  • Review UI flows and product builds to ensure documentation accuracy
  • Update existing documentation based on product updates and customer feedback
  • Deliver documentation aligned with product release timelines

🤝 Collaboration & Content Development

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers
  • Participate in feature discussions and documentation planning
  • Coordinate with support teams to identify documentation gaps
  • Address recurring customer issues through improved content
  • Manage multiple documentation tasks under tight deadlines

📊 Sales Enablement Support

  • Create or assist in sales-related content such as:
    • Battle cards
    • Competitive comparison documents
    • Feature one-pagers

  • Ensure consistent and accurate messaging across product, marketing, and sales teams

🎯 Required Experience & Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Writer or similar role
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Experience working with product documentation and release cycles
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
