Role Overview: Software Engineer Intern (Systest Engineer)

The Software Engineer Intern will work within EA Digital Platform (EADP) to develop and maintain robust tools for game simulation, test automation, and performance analysis. You will be responsible for building scalable solutions that improve the efficiency and reliability of EA’s platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and integrate tools to automate processes and improve testing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain game call pattern simulation code using C++/Scala.
• Perform stress and load testing based on gameplay-driven scenarios.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot system and network issues, and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with peers to track, resolve, and communicate test results.
• Ensure adherence to EA’s policies, NDAs, and security guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages: C++, Scala, Python.
• Knowledge of cloud systems: AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of scalable platform architecture and end-to-end systems design.
• Familiarity with visualization tools (Grafana) and database technologies (MySQL, Redis).
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work independently.
