Role Overview

As an Associate Engineer (Software), you’ll be part of Qualcomm’s core software development team, contributing to the next generation of chipsets and embedded platforms. You’ll work across multimedia, modem, wireless, and IoT systems — designing real-time embedded software and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for Qualcomm mobile chipsets.
• Work on real-time embedded systems and device drivers.
• Develop mobile software for Android, Windows, or Linux platforms.
• Collaborate with teams in areas such as:
  • Multimedia (Audio, Video, Imaging)
  • Wireless Modem (4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Board Support Packages and Kernel development
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance for embedded platforms.

Required Skills

• Strong in C / C++, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
• Good understanding of Operating Systems, Networking Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Knowledge of Linux / Android kernel concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills

• Familiarity with Multimedia frameworks, Embedded Systems, or Wireless Network Standards (GSM/CDMA/LTE/5G).
• Exposure to Object-Oriented Programming and system-level debugging.
• Experience with scripting (Python / Shell) is a plus.

🎓 Education:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related fields.
• Batch: 2025 / 2026 graduates (Freshers can apply)
