Job Overview
Wipro is hiring BE / BTech / MCA graduates from the 2025 batch for a Trainee role in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates looking to start their career in software configuration, testing, and quality assurance. The role involves working with Wipro’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration System to meet client requirements.
The position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of the SDLC process, SQL query writing, and good communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Trainee, you will be responsible for:
System Configuration
- Configure Wipro’s Total Benefit Administration System based on client needs.
- Use proprietary tools to set up and configure system tables and parameters.
- Understand client requirements provided through analysis documents.
Testing & Quality
- Perform system testing to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Apply software QA methodologies and testing best practices.
- Work with automation testing principles (exposure is an advantage).
Technical Support & Documentation
- Write SQL queries (simple to complex) for system validation.
- Apply relational database concepts (keys, tables, DB2, relationships).
- Document configurations, test results, and client-specific parameters.
Client Interaction & Communication
- Communicate system issues, updates, and clarifications effectively.
- Share information clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
- Collaborate with team members and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Technical Skills Needed
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Analytical ability to break down complex problems.
Soft Skills
