🔹 About Amazon NOC (Network Operations Center)

Amazon’s NOC is the central command center for transportation execution across multiple geographies including North America, India, and Europe. It ensures seamless freight movement from vendors to fulfillment centers and from fulfillment centers to carrier hubs.

NOC monitors network performance, resolves exceptions in real-time, analyzes trends, and implements automation and process improvements to deliver world-class customer experience.

🔹 Job Role – Transportation Representative

As a Transportation Operations Representative, you will manage real-time transportation execution and ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight. You will work closely with carriers, vendors, warehouses, and internal teams to resolve issues that impact customer experience and business continuity.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor transportation execution across inbound and outbound operations
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, fulfillment centers, and hubs
• Resolve real-time transportation exceptions and delays
• Track shipments and ensure on-time pickup and delivery
• Analyze logistics data and identify network trends
• Escalate issues to relevant teams and drive resolution
• Prepare weekly reports and operational narratives
• Work in a 24×7 operational environment

🔹 Inbound & Outbound Operations

Inbound Operations

• Coordinate vendor, carrier, and fulfillment center shipments
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery to fulfillment centers
• Resolve issues during the shipment lifecycle

Outbound Operations

• Ensure trucks leave fulfillment centers on schedule
• Track freight movement to carrier hubs and customer delivery
• Resolve delivery exceptions and delays

🔹 Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 12 to 24 months of work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Team player with strong analytical skills

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate with Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations
• Strong logical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in transportation or warehouse operations
