Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
As a Client Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for external clients regarding genomics testing. Your duties will be organized by priority:
- Level 1 Support: Providing telephone support to resolve client issues and inquiries.
- Genomics Expertise: Developing a deep understanding of genomics testing services to assist clients effectively.
- Customer Excellence: Maintaining the highest levels of satisfaction by resolving issues rapidly and sensitively.
- Request Management: Responding to queries about specimen requirements, collection guidelines, and sample status (TAT, receipt verification).
- Data Triage: Managing requests for data or demographic changes and monitoring internet-based client requests.
- Team Collaboration: Working effectively in a fast-paced team environment under the Client Services Supervisor.
Who Is the Ideal Candidate?
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory (Candidates with a Science background are highly preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Subject Knowledge: Basic understanding of genetic concepts and terminology.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Communication: Excellent oral and written skills, specifically for interacting with healthcare professionals.
- Soft Skills: Strong prioritization, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience: Previous work in a healthcare or laboratory setting is a major advantage.
