Global technology services leader Cognizant is recruiting for the position of Process Executive – Policy Servicing at its Chennai, India office. This full-time role within Cognizant’s Technology & Engineering division focuses on end-to-end property and casualty (P&C) insurance policy maintenance, data management, and operational customer support.
This position is tailored for professionals and freshers with strong MS Office skills, excellent written/verbal English communication, and readiness to work in-office during night shift hours.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Scope
As a Policy Servicing Executive at Cognizant, your daily operational workflow will include:
Policy Lifecycle Management: Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and updates for property and casualty insurance clients following documented SLAs.
Data Processing & Quality Control: Review customer instructions, capture updates accurately in core software platforms, and maintain policy data in spreadsheets.
Stakeholder Communication: Interpret and clarify customer or internal stakeholder requests received via email, ticketing systems, or workflow tools using professional English.
Document Preparation: Prepare status trackers, policy summaries, and transaction notes in MS Word and MS Excel for audit and reporting purposes.
Validations & Compliance: Perform basic checks on premium calculations, coverage limits, and policy dates to prevent processing errors and maintain regulatory compliance.
Cross-Shift Handover: Collaborate with internal quality and support teams during night shifts to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless cross-timezone handovers.

Core Competencies & Requirements
