The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters (Northern Region), has released an official notification (ADVT. NO. 01/2026/APPRENTICE/GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/ITI/NR) for the engagement of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Trade Apprentices for a 1-year training program (2026-27).

A total of 205 vacancies are available across various airports and offices in the Northern Region.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Domicile Requirement

Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of the following Northern Region States/UTs are eligible:

• Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

2. Educational Qualification

• Graduate Apprentices: Full-time (Regular) 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree or 3-year BCA/B.Com degree from an AICTE/UGC recognized institution. (Must have passed in 2024 or later).
• Diploma Apprentices: Full-time (Regular) 3-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant streams. (Must have passed in 2024 or later).
• ITI Apprentices: ITI / NCVT certificate in relevant trades (COPA, Steno, Hardware & Networking).

3. Age Limit (As on 16.09.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 26 Years (Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD as per Govt. guidelines).

4. Ineligibility

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, or have job experience of 1 year or more are not eligible.

Training will take place at various Northern Region airports/offices, including:

• Airports/Stations: Adampur, Amritsar, Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Bhatinda, Bikaner, Chitrakoot, CATC-Prayagraj, Dehradun, Farukkhabad, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Hindon, Hissar, Halwara/Ludhiana, Jammu, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Kangra-Gaggal, Kanpur, Khajuraho, Kullu-Bhuntar, Kushinagar, Kishangarh, Kota, Lucknow, Leh, Moradabad, Muirpur, Meerut, Pantnagar, Pathankot, Pratapgarh, Pithoragarh, Prayagraj, Safdarjung, Shravasti, Srinagar, Shimla, Udaipur, Varanasi, and offices in New Delhi.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Provisional selection based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree / Diploma / ITI).
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via their registered email IDs for document verification.
3. Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to verification of original certificates and submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Medical Officer.
