BHEL Trichy Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 530 Vacancies

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Trichy has released an official recruitment notification for 530 Apprentice vacancies for the 2026–27 batch. The positions include Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices, and Trade Apprentices.

The selection process involves no written examination and is based entirely on a Merit List derived from academic marks, followed by Certificate Verification. There is no application fee for any category.

Post-Wise Vacancy & Qualification Details

1. Graduate Apprentice

• Vacancies: 90 Posts
• Stipend: ₹12,300 / month
• Qualification: Passed 10+2 and completed Graduation in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or Graduation in Commerce (B.Com) / Arts (B.A.) as a regular full-time candidate.

2. Technician Apprentice

• Vacancies: 60 Posts
• Stipend: ₹10,900 / month
• Qualification: High School Pass and completed Diploma in Engineering as a regular full-time candidate in the last 5 years from a recognized institute.
• Marks Cut-off: Minimum 60% aggregate marks for UR / OBC(NCL) / EWS; minimum 50% for SC / ST candidates.

3. Trade Apprentice

• Vacancies: 380 Posts
• Stipend: ₹10,560 – ₹11,040 / month
• Qualification: High School Pass and completed ITI as a regular full-time candidate from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. (Note: For Welder trade, NCVT certification only).

Age Limit & Relaxations

• Age Criteria: 18 to 27 Years

Upper Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years
• PwBD (General / EWS): 10 Years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
• PwBD (SC / ST): 15 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules

How to Apply

1. Step 1 – Portal Registration:
   • Trade/ITI Apprentices: Register on the Apprenticeship India (NAPS) Portal.
   • Diploma & Graduate Apprentices: Register on the NATS Portal.
   • Note down your Enrolment/Registration Number.
2. Step 2 – BHEL Trichy Portal Submission:
   • Visit the official BHEL Trichy portal and click on Register.
   • Enter your name, mobile number, and email ID to generate credentials.
   • Log in and select your category (Graduate / Technician / Trade).
   • Enter your NAPS/NATS Enrolment Number and complete your personal and academic details.
   • Upload required documents and submit the application form.
   • Download and save the acknowledgement copy for future reference.
