🎓 Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
1. Essential Qualification
- 3-Year Regular Diploma in Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- Mandatory Institute Criterion: Must be obtained from a Government Polytechnic or Government Aided Polytechnic in Tamil Nadu. (Private Polytechnic candidates are strictly not eligible).
2. Eligible Diploma Disciplines
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE)
- Computer Engineering / Information Technology (IT)
- Instrumentation Technology / Other related disciplines as per official notification.
3. Additional Requirements
- Language Exemption: Candidates who studied Tamil as a subject in their 10th Standard are exempted from the Tamil Language Proficiency Test.
- Reservation: 30% horizontal reservation is applicable for women candidates.
