🧾 Job Summary
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, vendor payments, and expense validations. The position focuses on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement, supporting the smooth functioning of Cognizant’s finance operations.
This role also offers exposure to global time zones and a flexible hybrid work model.
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and payments with high accuracy
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Use MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company AP policies and procedures
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
- Validate employee expense claims
- Maintain accurate audit-ready AP records
- Support process improvement initiatives
- Handle payment-related queries from stakeholders
- Work in rotational shifts across time zones
- Ensure confidentiality of financial data
