Cognizant is inviting applications from 2024 and 2025 graduates for the role of Analyst Trainee. This pan-India hiring drive is specifically for 3-year undergraduate degree holders. Depending on your background, you can be aligned with IT, Cloud, or Digital Workplace teams.

- Target Batches: 2024 & 2025 Pass-outs only.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria (Two Categories)
Cognizant has divided this hiring into two streams. Check which one you fit into:
Stream A: IT & Integrated Smart Operations
- Degree: BCA, B.Sc (CS, IT, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Stats, Electronics).
- Percentage: Minimum 60% throughout (10th, 12th, Diploma, and UG).
- Arrears: No active arrears at the time of joining.
- Role: Database queries, testing, service tickets, and data analytics.
Stream B: Multicloud & Digital Workplace Services
- Degree: ANY 3-year UG degree (BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BBA, B.Voc, BMS, etc.).
- Percentage: Minimum 50% in academics.
- Arrears: Standing arrears are NOT allowed.
- Role: Technical support, server monitoring, and troubleshooting.
💼 Role Expectations & Perks
- Shift: Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment (Night shifts included).
- Location: Any Cognizant office across India.
- Allowances: Night shift allowance will be provided.
- Transport: Free Cab facility (Pick-up and Drop) provided for safety and comfort.
- Experience: This is for freshers; prior work experience will not be considered for salary hikes.
📝 Mandatory Documents for Application
Cognizant is very strict about documentation. Ensure you have:
- Resume: Max 2 pages with a high-res photo (Light background, both ears visible).
- PAN Card: Mandatory for onboarding. Name must match your certificates exactly.
- Voter ID / Passport: Required for citizenship verification.
- Academic Records: All mark sheets from 10th to UG.
⚠️ Important Rules (Don’t Ignore!)
- Postgraduates: If you are currently enrolled in a full-time PG program (like MBA or M.Sc), you are NOT eligible.
- 6-Month Rule: If you have attended a Cognizant interview or assessment in the last 6 months, please do not apply.
- Email: Use a permanent personal email ID. Do not change it throughout the process.
- Rounding Off: 59.9% is NOT 60%. Cognizant does not allow rounding off percentages.
💡 Karthik’s Career Tip:
For the IT stream, brush up on SQL queries and CRUD operations, as the job description specifically mentions them. For the Multicloud/Digital Workplace stream, focus on your communication skills and basic knowledge of Windows/Networking.
