🚀 Job Role – Software Engineer 1 (I5)

As a Software Engineer at Dell, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to create next-generation software solutions that enhance system performance, diagnostics, and customer experience.

You’ll be part of the Client Software Engineering Team, building and improving Dell’s System Health & Diagnostics and Telemetry products across various operating environments such as Pre-Boot, Recovery OS, and Windows OS.

🧠 What You’ll Do

Design and develop innovative software products and features for Dell’s client platforms.
Work on Windows OS-based diagnostic and telemetry software.
Collaborate with internal and external teams, including Dell’s ecosystem partners and third-party vendors.
Contribute to patentable ideas, new-generation client platforms, and world-class customer experience.
Engage in Agile-based software development and maintain high-quality metrics.

🎯 Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

0–2 years of experience in software development for Windows OS.
Strong programming and debugging skills in C#, C++, and .NET.
Experience in problem-solving and Agile development methodologies.
Good knowledge of:
- Windows Internals & Security
- WMI/ACPI, MFC, WCF, WPF
- PC architecture (Intel/AMD x64, ARM64)
- Hybrid Cloud, System Health, and Telemetry

Desirable Requirements

Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines and test automation frameworks.
Understanding of system performance, interoperability, and software usability testing.
