🧾 Position Summary
The L1 Support Engineer provides first-level technical support to global users. The role focuses heavily on inbound voice support, incident resolution within SLAs, and basic troubleshooting of infrastructure and end-user issues. This position is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and foundational IT support knowledge.
🛠️ Primary Skills Required
- International voice-based IT Service Desk support
- Ticketing tools (ServiceNow preferred)
- Active Directory – basic user & access management
- VPN, Citrix, VDI troubleshooting
- RSA Token support
- Remote Desktop Support (L1)
- MS Office – basic proficiency
➕ Secondary / Soft Skills
- Clear and confident communication (voice & accent)
- Basic log analysis and incident triage
- Ability to follow SOPs and escalation procedures
- Strong customer service mindset
- Multitasking in high-volume environments
👨💻 Key Responsibilities
A. Core Responsibilities
- Handle inbound support calls (approx. 90% voice-based work)
- Resolve incidents within defined SLAs (TAT & volume)
- Provide Level 1 remote desktop and user support
- Troubleshoot issues using interaction, analysis, and research
- Maintain high quality standards in communication & compliance
- Drive customer satisfaction using FCR, low AHT, and reduced reopens
B. Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date work logs
- Follow escalation and operational guidelines
- Assist with user onboarding/offboarding where applicable
- Adhere to information security and compliance policies
- Contribute to continuous process and service improvements
