Role Responsibilities & Learning Exposure
Selected interns will work alongside senior IBM Consultants in the FutureNow Centers, observing and gaining real-world industry experience in the following operational areas:
- Application & Production Monitoring: Understanding application schedules, active processes, system status tracking, and live environment operations.
- Incident & Fault Analysis: Learning incident resolution workflows, fault analysis, and handling low-to-medium level technical support tasks.
- Service Administration: Observing non-code-related application configuration activities and maintaining service administration routines.
- Operational Flexibility: Working in production support shifts to support hybrid cloud and AI client ecosystems.
