About the Role: Associate Business Analyst – GIS
Infosys is looking for GIS professionals who can contribute to solution development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The role involves working closely with project teams, creating POCs, developing custom GIS components, and supporting enterprise GIS applications across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy GIS solutions on platforms like ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcFM, ArcGIS Server (JavaScript API, HTML5, TypeScript, Silverlight API), ArcGIS Online, Web App Builder, and ArcGIS Mobile.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technology trends and industry advancements.
- Convert functional designs into technical configurations as per project requirements.
- Develop GIS-based POCs and prepare demos for business users.
- Design forms, workflows, portlets, and integrate GIS systems with business applications.
- Provide support during issue resolution, post–go-live activities, and collaborate with testing teams.
- Act as a team player and assist the project team with functional queries.
- Be open to learning new GIS tools, technologies, and platforms as needed.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates with the following degrees are eligible:
- BE / BTech / BSc / BCA / ME / MTech / MCA / MSc
Technical Requirements
- 1–2 years of GIS experience in design, development, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), web services, Python scripting, geo-processing services, and GIS data models.
- Programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ArcGIS Mobile development.
- Knowledge of GIS product architecture and enterprise GIS methodologies.
- Good communication skills, analytical ability, and willingness to adopt new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in GIS Consultancy, ESRI-based environments, or enterprise GIS implementations.
- Ability to create custom widgets, manage workflows, and develop mobile GIS applications.
