Core Roles & Responsibilities

As a Mainframe Developer at Infosys, you will step into the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC). Your primary responsibilities will cover:

  • Requirements Processing: Analyze user requirements, translate business logic into architecture expectations, and map out crucial system features and functionalities.
  • Code Implementation: Design, build, and maintain clean, reusable, and highly secure mainframe code blocks.
  • Optimization & Debugging: Identify structural system bottlenecks, isolate environment-specific bugs, and recommend engineered solutions by balancing custom development against legacy system limitations.
  • Database Schema Design: Create and implement database schemas that accurately map to and support core corporate business workflows.
