Itron is looking for a trainee who have knowledge in SQL DBA to be part of our growing IT centre in Bangalore, India. You will be part of our global IT organization and will be joining a global, leading technology, remote support team responsible for leading and mentoring a team of energetic IT infrastructure analysts resolving complex issues every day for internal customers. Itron IT provides support for all internal IT systems and applications issues in Itron.  IT Operations team is responsible for providing remote support, including end-user support, business systems (e.g. Oracle EBS, Oracle cloud etc), Collaboration tools and systems, networking, and systems management among many other technical services. The support provided by this team will have a global reach and support all Itron thousands of employees. Qualification / Skills Requirements:

Skill Sets:

  • Good Knowledge on Oracle SQL/ PLSQL
  • Basic understanding of Oracle E-Business suite architecture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to directly work with oracle end users / customers.
  • Certifications on SQL/ Oracle EBS / Cloud will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellence in customer service support, diagnosis, replication, resolving technical issues of simple, complex, and critical service requests at enterprise Infrastructure Landscape. The focus of this position is to provide Customer Service on Infrastructure space and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by Itron employees and users of Oracle EBS.

  • Responding to functional assistance incidents from the business users, problem analysis and change implementation.
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to the recurring problems and resolution.
  • Provide timely and effective reporting/updates on status of work being done for Incidents, Service Requests and change implementation.
  • Working with super users to resolve all issues for the reported incidents. Troubleshoot the issues on Oracle Support site and if required open SR with Oracle for critical issues.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Work in night shift and flexible to take up shifts in other time zones.

Education: BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent from recognized University. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
