Lokal—a Y Combinator-backed hyperlocal content and discovery platform built for Tier-2/3+ India—is inviting applications for the post of Telesales Executive (Tamil). This is a 100% remote contract position within the Business Development & Operations team, designed for goal-oriented sales professionals.

About Lokal :

In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they’d come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online. This spark became Lokal. Eligibility Criteria & Key Skills

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Outbound Sales Execution: Conduct outbound calls to prospective users and pitch tailored solutions across Lokal’s specialized apps.
• Lead & Funnel Management: Follow up on marketing-generated leads and manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle from initial contact to conversion.
• CRM Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of customer interactions, call outcomes, and pipeline statuses in CRM tools.
• Target Achievement: Consistently hit monthly sales targets to drive user acquisition across Bharat markets.
• Feedback Loop: Partner with marketing teams to provide field insights and customer feedback to refine outreach campaigns.
