Job Description
Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, world-class engineering solutions. You will work closely with Azure CXP Program Managers, Data Scientists, engineering partners across Azure, and teams from Support, Field and Marketing. The role focuses on delivering customer-centric features, improving system reliability and enhancing end-to-end tooling and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality engineering infrastructure and customer-facing features.
- Collaborate with Azure CXP teams, Data Scientists and engineering groups to design and deliver scalable solutions.
- Participate in building distributed software systems for Azure programs.
- Support end-to-end engineering processes, tooling and data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to improving performance, scalability and reliability of distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
OR - Equivalent practical experience
Technical Skills
- Strong coding experience in one or more languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
- Experience designing and building distributed software systems
- Experience with scalable, high-performance platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment
Experience
- Minimum 2 years
- Maximum 4 years
- Experience delivering production-ready, distributed platforms preferred
- Master’s degree candidates with relevant experience are also eligible
