Roles & Key Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Rater, candidates will evaluate and validate data used to train search engines and generative AI systems:
- AI & Search Evaluation: Assess AI-generated responses and search engine results for accuracy, relevance, usefulness, and overall quality.
- Online Verification & Research: Conduct research across web browsers and online databases to verify information and validate rating decisions.
- Guideline Compliance: Apply detailed rating guidelines systematically while flagging edge cases, task inconsistencies, or guideline gaps.
- Feedback & Feedback Documentation: Provide clear written rationale for assigned ratings and participate in ongoing calibration sessions and quality reviews.
- Performance Standards: Maintain consistent productivity while ensuring high accuracy across assigned evaluation tasks.
Detailed Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
- Residency: Must be a resident of India for the past 5 consecutive years.
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Cultural & Current Affairs Awareness: Familiarity with Indian and global business, media, sports, social media, news, and culture.
- Technical Setup: Daily access to a high-speed broadband connection, a personal computer/laptop, and a smartphone.
- Research Skills: Demonstrated online research capabilities, critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to verify factual information independently.
- Preferred Experience: Background in quality assurance, data annotation, content moderation, editing, journalism, or subject matter expertise in STEM, Law, Finance, Medicine, or Social Sciences.
